ARCHEION

An all-Poland scientific periodical published since 1926, founded by Stanisław Ptaszycki, dedicated to archive matters (archive studies). It comes out twice a year and contains extensive sections of reviews of archive publications (books and magazines) both from Poland and abroad, summaries in English, French and Russian.

MISCELLANEA HISTORICO-ARCHIVISTICA

Book series in which extensive studies related to history, archives and circulation of documents as well as source materials are published. The series in published together with the Head Office of State Archives and the Main Archive of Old Files.

TEKI ARCHIWALNE

A periodical which publishes source texts from the Archive of New Files. It contains a section of articles, miscellaneous materials, information on archive collections, Archive of New Files chronicle and obituaries.

SZKICE ARCHIWALNO-HISTORYCZNE

A periodical devoted to source studies with emphasis on various archive issues, both in terms of archive studies and archive methodology. The published studies, source materials and reviews concern mainly the collection of the Archive in Katowice, documents created in the nearby area. This leads to interesting publications on meeting of cultures, state administrations of the area and consequently meeting of languages, writings and forms of document circulation.

“Szkice Archiwalno-Historyczne” has been published yearly by the State Archive in Katowice since 1998 (with a break in the years 1999-2006). T

he magazine presents summaries of publications in German and English language. At the Internet site of the State Archive in Katowice – www.katowice.ap.gov.pl – a summary of current issue of “Szkice Archiwalno-Historyczne” can be found, and after two years full versions of individual issues are published in an electronic version.
The magazine has been placed on a list of selected scientific periodicals assessed according to harmonised parameters together with the number of points for the scientific publication. It ranked high, 6 points for scientific study published in it.
